Nestled in the peaceful East Woods, The Hideaway offers tranquil views over fields and across the sea to Hartland Point. Designed to be intimate yet luxurious, this beautiful space sleeps 2 adults comfortably, with the sofa bed available for up to 2 children or young people.

Crafted from larch and pine using sustainable, home-grown timber, the interiors are warm, natural and thoughtfully designed. Whatever the weather, your private luxury hot tub awaits — the perfect place to soak, unwind and raise a glass of complimentary fizz as the world slows down around you.

Inside, a luxurious King Size bed sits with views of rolling hills right from your pillow. We want you to feel fully at home, so there’s a full-length wardrobe with mirror, a proper self-catering kitchen, and a cosy living area with your very own wood burner — perfect for lingering dinners and long conversations. A spacious shower room and loo complete the space.

The woodland surroundings inspired every detail. Soft hues echo the bark of the trees outside, visible from every window. There’s even a gentle nod to the Pickwell bees who live nearby (don’t worry — not too nearby!) and produce the most delicious, clear honey from the wildflowers of the estate.

The Hideaway is just that: a place to rest, retreat and reconnect — with yourself, with nature, and with the person you’ve come away with. Curl up in the deliciously comfortable bed, watch the trees sway outside, breathe deeply, and exhale.

All treehouses open out onto a large seated balcony where you can sit beneath the North Devon sky and enjoy life’s simplest pleasures — the murmur of the ocean waves below, the distant call of seabirds, and a sky full of stars far from city lights.

• The double sofa bed can comfortably sleep up to 2 children or young people.

• The treehouse and hot tub are not recommended for children under 5. Please speak to us before booking if you plan to bring little ones.

  All our treehouses have an enclosed terrace for your dog to be free and off the lead. Please tick the add-ons box when making your booking.

The Loft and The Hideaway sleep 2 adults with the additional option to have 2 children on sofa beds. If you’re looking for something a little roomier, our Den treehouse has been designed with families in mind, with a king-size bed and twin bunk room.
